Germaine E. (Martel) Bussiere, 92, of Jacksonville, AR died September 9, 2007 in Jacksonville. She was born April 19, 1915 in Manchester, the daughter of Thomas and Florida (Bellerose) Martel. She resided in Manchester for seventy years after which time she moved to Jacksonville to live with her daughter. She was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church in Jacksonville and was an active volunteer for the Red Cross and Rebsamen Hospital Auxiliary. She was also Volunteer of the Year for the Auxillary in 1990. She belonged to the Jacksonville Senior Center. She was predeceased by her husband, Romeo H. Bussiere in 1982. In Her Life: Survivors include her daughter, Pauline Boucher and her husband Robert of Jacksonville, AR; three sisters; Marie Therrien of Manchester, Dora Raymond of Manchester and Cecile Rogers of Dover; two brothers, Sam Martel of Goffstown and Raymond Martel of Manchester; two grandchildren, Robert Boucher and wife Julie of CA and Dennis Boucher and wife Mary of VA; one great-granddaughter, Elizabeth Boucher as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other family in New Hampshire. A committal service will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery on Saturday September 22nd at 9:30 a.m. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
