Gertrude R. Greene, 87, of Goffstown, NH died April 20, 2004, at Bel-Air Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH. She was born in Pembroke, NH on March 18, 1917, the daughter of Ovila and Marie (Tremblay) Ricard and had been a resident of this area since 1977. Gertrude lived nine years in St. Pete, Florida. She owned Town Line Garage with her husband, Sherman Greene who died in 1977 and was a member of the D.A.V. Woman Auxiliary. Family members include a son, Richard Greene of Chichester, NH, a daughter, Mrs. Joseph (Judi) Lanza of Goffstown, six grandchildren, four great grandchildren, a sister, Jeannette Riviezzo of Bedford, NH, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 12 O’clock Noon in St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown, NH. Burial will be in St. Augustin Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 360 Route 101, Unit 501, Bedford, NH 03110 or to the VNA Home Hospice, 1850 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
