WHITEFIELD --- Gertrude Edith Rock, 89, formerly of Lyman, NH, passed away on January 31st at the Morrison Nursing Home.
Gertrude was born on October 26, 1913, a daughter to Leon and Estle (Johnson) King in East Montpelier, Vermont.
She was employed by the Mary Hitchcock Hospital for many years. She enjoyed many activities with the other residents of Morrison Nursing Home during her stay there.
Surviving family members include her son, Jerrold King of Lyman, NH; one brother, Lawrence A. King of East Concord, VT; two sisters, Betty Bachelor of Bradford, VT, and Grace Wittamore of Florida; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
SERVICES --- Funeral services will be held by the family at a later date.
