Gina Marie McConnell, 48, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in her sleep from cardiac-related natural causes.

Gina was born and raised in Littleton and for most of her life it was her home and where her heart was. She never strayed far or for long; even on short weekend getaways she would be homesick and ready to return home within a few days. Prior to health issues that left her unable to work, she was employed as a cook at local establishments and also did work as a housekeeper.

Gina was a dedicated mother to her children and treasured time spent with them. Family and friends meant the world to her. Kindhearted and generous to a fault, she would do anything for those she loved. She was high-spirited and with her witty sense of humor was always able to make those around her laugh.
Gina is survived by her son and "other –half" Jon McConnell, her daughter and best friend Kia McConnell, sister and brother-in-law Chris Ann and Randy Brock, her only and favorite nephew Sam McConnell, her fur-baby Baxter, her grand dog Bandit, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father Ernest F. "Ernie" McConnell (1989), her mother Marie E. Goulet (2018), and her very special Grammie McConnell (2000).

"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal."

Services: There will be no calling hours. She will be laid to rest with her father at Glenwood Cemetery in a private family service on Friday, September 20th. A Celebration of Life led by the Reverend Lynn Winter will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 1:00 at the VFW in Littleton.

Remembrances may be made in the form desired by friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the First Responders, Medical Examiner, Gina's doctor, and the Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home for all they have done to assist us at this time.
