GLADYS SPECTOR CAMANN
BETHLEHEM -- Gladys Spector Camann, 88, passed away peacefully in the home that she shared with her daughter and family for sixteen years on Monday, February 9, 2004.
Gladys was born in Manchester, NH, a daughter to Michael and Alice (Mushlin) Spector, on August 28, 1915. She attended Central High School and Hesser Business College. Gladys married Louis H. Camann in 1941 and raised four children in Manchester until their move to Littleton in 1969. Gladys took great pride in supporting the family businesses with her bookkeeping skills for Rogers in Manchester, Camanns Shoe & Childrens Clothing Store, Chuckys Country Store, and Nautilus Health & Fitness Center all in Littleton, totaling 70 years of service.
She was an American Red Cross Volunteer in WWII. Her hobbies included golf, bridge, reading and knitting.
She leaves behind two daughters, Candace Clark of Bethlehem, NH and Andrea Duchesneau of Milton, NH; one son, Peter Camann of Bethlehem, NH; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Her husband, Louis, a son, Jeff, and a grandson, Michael, predeceased her.
SERVICES -- Services will be held at a date to be determined in the spring.
