Gladys I. Ranger, 93, of Manchester died suddenly on June 3, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center. Mrs. Ranger was born on October 22, 1913 in Manchester the daughter of Algemon and Philomine (Belisle) Clark. She was the youngest and last of nine children. Gladys was a lifelong resident on Manchester and attended St. Josephs School. Growing up, she worked predominately in the mills. She met and married Edward A. Ranger Sr. and the couple shared 56 wonderful years together. She was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed camping with her family. She frequently spent time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her greatest pleasure was her family. She was a devoted homemaker who enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Edward in June of 1993. Family members include; one son, Edward A. Ranger Jr. of Bedford; two daughters, Gloria A. Chase of Goffstown and Marie L. Loughlin of Manchester; 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, June 5th from 2:00 until 4:00 and 7:00 until 9:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 oclock at St. Raphael Church with burial to follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
