GLEN AUSTIN PARKER
SUGAR HILL, NH -- Glen Austin Parker, 77 departed this world on February 11, 2018.
Glen was born a son to George Parker Jr. and Lucille Smith-Parker on January 12, 1941 in Manchester, NH.
An avid printer, outdoors-man, and ham radio enthusiast, Glen owned and ran "Glen Press" and the "White Mountain Shopper" for 50 years. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and hiking, and spent many an afternoon building the trail to Indian Head, the top half of which remains in use to this day.
Glen served in the army reserves, stateside, for a number of years, and participated actively in the local ham network "4 RPMer's". In joining his fellow silent keys, he leaves behind his younger sister Carol Parker, Wife Karol, and two daughters, Sarah and Rebecca. May his soul find rest and mercy with God. He is predeceased by both parents and his best and lifelong friend Malcolm Downing, whom he has now gone to join.
SERVICES â A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 24th at Sugar Hill Community Church at 2:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date in the Westview Cemetery in Hudson, NH.
