Glen Roy Parker, 60, of Derry, passed away at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA on May 13, 2009. He was born in Lowell, MA on December 2, 1948, the son of the late Irvin and Doris (Leonard) Parker and had been a resident of Plaistow for most of his life before moving to Derry in February. He had worked as a dishwasher at Eggies Diner in Plaistow for many years before his retirement. He loved bowling and golfing. Family members include his long time companion, Mary Dooley of Derry; an aunt, Helen Harris of NH, a cousin, Wayne Parker of NH; and all his many friends and staff members at Crochet Mountain Rehabilitation Center who he considered his family. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Friday from 9 to 11 AM. Funeral services will follow in the funeral home chapel on Friday at 11:00 AM.
