GLENN HANEY
LITTLETON -- Glenn Haney, 77, of Union Street, died peacefully at home with his family by his side on Friday, December 6, 2002.
He was born on November 30, 1925, a son to Earl and Eva (Reid) Haney in New Hampton, NH.
Glenn attended school in Bristol, NH and served in the U. S. Navy during World War II. After returning from his tour of duty, he married his wife, Helen St. Cyr on November 21, 1956. He began a lifelong career in the truck driving industry of which he retired from St. Johnsbury Trucking Company. He was a very devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather having lived his life for his family.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War, Howard Shawney Post #816, and the American Legion.
Surviving family members include his wife of 46 years, Helen Haney of Littleton; four sons, Richard E. Haney of Hill, NH, Glenn E. Haney, Jr. of Mexico Beach, FL, Bryan R. Haney of Champlain, NY, and Russell H. Haney of Littleton, NH; two daughters, Virginia A. Haney of Littleton, and Lisa H. Lavoie of Littleton; fourteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. One brother, Lawrence Larry Haney predeceased him.
SERVICES: At Glenns request, all services will be private for his family only.
