Glenn Stanavich

Glenn Stanavich, 51, of 334 Amherst Street, died October 13, 2001, at Elliot Hospital. He was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on January 16, 1950, and had been a resident of Manchester for the past ten years. He was a graduate of U Mass in Lowell. Glenn was a technical education teacher at Henry McLaughlin Middle School for two years until his illness. Mr. Stanavich previously worked for Child and Family Services and Midway Shelter. He also worked at PRI automation in Billerica, Ma., as a technical instructor and at Nashua High School in the adult school program. He enjoyed helping troubled children. Friends include his close companion Aline Pinard of Manchester. SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held October 23, 2001, at 4 PM at the Unitarian Universalists Church, 669 Union Street, Manchester, NH. In lieu of flowers, please send remembrances to the Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, is in charge of arrangements.
