Gloria F. Dor
Gloria F. Dor, 93, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2018. Born April 30, 1925 in Paterson, NJ, she was daughter of the late Annible and Flavia Gambuti.
Raised and educated in New Jersey, she was a lifelong resident until moving to New Hampshire in 2005 to be with her son. Gloria had a caring heart, and always took care of others, including her family and strangers. A devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, family was paramount in Gloria's life. Gloria will be best remembered for her gentle spirit and generous heart.
Gloria leaves behind her son Edward Gambuti and his wife Janet of North Haledon, NJ and her son Brian Dor of Manchester, NH; seven grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Arthur Dor, and her brothers, Archie and Albert Gambuti.
A memorial gathering will be held on Thursday, June 21 from 9-10am with a memorial service at 10am at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Gloria's memory may be made to Disabled American Veterans, PO Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
