Gloria J. Loukedes

Gloria Jean (Towne) Loukedes, 71, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on November 2, 2023, after a long illness, with family at her side.

Born in Manchester on June 15, 1952, Gloria was the daughter of the late Archie and Irene (Lefebvre) Towne. Gloria enjoyed singing, cooking, listening to music, and loved collecting and sharing her sizable photo collection. Always a hard worker, she was proudly employed in custodial maintenance for much of her life. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren, who were everything to her.

Gloria's family include two sons, Paul Loukedes and Nathan Loukedes; daughter Hillary Piper, four grandchildren, Harvey Sargent, Piper Sargent, Carter Phelps, and Marianna Kalantzis, three brothers, Robert Towne, James Towne, and David Towne, five sisters, Pauline Towne, Debbie Smagula, Donna Gardner, Patricia "Patty" Allan, Robin Byington and many nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved and constant companion of over 30 years, Richard Piper, better known to all as Dick. She will be missed by all those fortunate enough to know her.

Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Thursday, November 9^th from 11 AM to 1 PM.
