Gloria Nieder

06/05/1964 – 09/14/2026

Gloria Nieder passed away surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, generosity, and devotion to those she cherished.

Born in Frankfurt, Germany, then raised in Manchester, New Hampshire, Gloria embraced a life filled with adventure, resilience, and connection. As the wife of a military servicemember, she made homes in New Mexico, Iceland, North Carolina, Texas, and New England, creating memories everywhere she lived. No matter where life took her, Gloria's warmth and welcoming spirit made every place feel like home.

In 1983, Gloria married the love of her life, Kyle Nieder. Together they built a family rooted in faith and love. They enjoyed taking trips together, especially their more recent adventures, including a cruise and a visit to Discovery Cove, where Gloria delighted in scuba diving with sea life.

Gloria earned her associate degree from Vernon Regional Junior College and pursued a variety of professional opportunities throughout her life with dedication. Of all her accomplishments, she was especially proud of her work with the New Hampshire Department of Justice.

Faith remained an important part of Gloria's life. Raised in the Catholic tradition, she later embraced the Baptist faith, finding strength, comfort, and guidance through her spiritual journey.

Those who knew Gloria knew a woman who was always ready to lend a helping hand. She found great joy in crafting, especially cross-stitching and creating handmade gifts. Whether through a kind gesture, a listening ear, or handwritten cards, Gloria had a gift for making people feel loved.

More than anything, Gloria treasured her family. She was especially proud to become an Oma and found great joy in spending time with her daughters and granddaughters. She celebrated their accomplishments, shared in their everyday moments, and created memories that will be lovingly carried forward.

Gloria will be remembered for her gentle heart, selfless spirit, and the love she shared so generously with those around her.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years, Kyle Nieder; her daughters, Crystal Murphy and her husband Ryan Murphy, and Kyla Nieder and her fiancé, Andrew Maniscalco; and her five young granddaughters. She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, extended family, and dear friends.

A service will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2026 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., with a celebration of Gloria's life following at 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104.
