Gordon M. Fifield
Gordon M. Fifield, 77, lifelong resident of Concord, lost his battle with cancer on Wednesday, May 2, 2018.
Gordon was born in Concord on March 24, 1941 to Albert and Edith (Gordon) Fifield. He was a Printer with Rumford Press for many years until the company folded in the mid-80s, then worked for Sanel Auto Parts until retirement.
In his spare time, Gordon enjoyed hunting, particularly deer and turkey. He was deeply involved in Sunset Mountain Fish & Game, having been a longtime member and Executive Board Member. He also helped to organize Shades of Grey, a club within the Sunset Mountain club.
Gordon is survived by his children, Al Fifield, Dale Fifield, Theresa Robertson, and Mike Fifield; his grandchildren, Danielle Fifield, Kristen Campbell, Nathan Fifield, Meghan Mathews, Tristan Robertson, Tiahna Fifield, and Corey Fifield; his nephew, Mark Fifield; and his girlfriend, Rachel Davis.
Family and friends are invited to attend a cemetery committal service at 11:00am on Friday, May 11th at Concord Calvary Cemetery, 207 North State Street in Concord, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Sunset Mountain Fish & Game House Fund, PO Box 202, Canterbury, NH 03224.
