Gordon Thomas James

Gordon Thomas James, 69, died on Thursday October 14, 2021 at Concord Hospital after a long illness with his family by his side.

He was born on February 29th, 1952 to the late Herbert O. and Jeanne B. (Robinson) James. Brother of the late Herbert O. James and brother in law Vincent Greene.

He leaves behind his three sons - Leland F. James of Taylors, SC, Gordon T. James II of Concord, NH and Alexzan J. James of Westbrook, ME.

Gordon went to Somerville High and before graduating he enlisted in the Marines. He later worked for the railroad. After retiring Gordon moved to Maine where he lived for several years. He later moved to New Hampshire where his family could look after him.

Gordon’s passion was to join the Masons and the Shriners where he was a member for 41 years. Some of his hobbies were drafting, computer design and games. He will be missed.

Also left behind are his siblings Clifford H. James and wife Barbara of Warr Acres, OK, his brother Herbert's wife Kathryn James from Martha's Vineyard, MA, Cheryl J. Greene of Laconia, NH, Toni J. Freeman and husband Walter F. of Windham, NH and Peter A. James and wife Dianne M. of Wilmington, MA; long-time friend Pearl Lew from Biddeford, ME as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
