Grace M. (Demers) Clement, 88, of Goffstown, died April 28, 2005 at Mount Carmel Nursing Home. She was born in Manchester on April 20, 1917, the daughter of Zoel and Josephaire (Daillaire) Demers and had been a Goffstown resident for over 65 years. She was a long-time parishioner of St. Edmond Church and currently belonged to the Parish of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by two grandchildren, Matthew Clement and Michael Lively. Family members include her husband of 66 years, Romeo Clement; a son, Raymond Clement of Manchester; a daughter, Muriel Lively of Dunbarton; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren; a brother, Marcel Demers of Amherst; and many nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Sunday from 2 to 5 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 10:00 in the Church of the Transfiguration. Burial will follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
