Grace L. Couture

Grace L. Couture, 88, of Hooksett, passed away on March 21, 2023, at Villa Crest in Manchester.

She was born to parents Alfred and Valeda (Morrissette) Lacasse on January 29, 1935, in Berlin NH. She married the love of her life Robert Couture, who predeceased her after 66 wonderful years of marriage.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and always looked forward to getting out and going shopping at all her favorite places.  While relaxing at home she loved to watch the news, her soap operas, and Wheel of Fortune.  If you knew Grace, you know her real true passion was Bingo, she loved spending that time with her daughters. In her younger years, she loved hosting family and friends at “camp” on Lake Winnipesaukee, baby sitting her grandchildren, traveling, bowling, and playing cards.

Grace is survived by her three daughters, Denise “Dee” St. Denis and husband Bob, Linda Paquet and husband Tony, and Sharon Cummings and husband Jack; seven grandchildren, Derek St. Denis and wife Elizabeth, Sean St. Denis and girlfriend Jen, Trevor Paquet and wife Danielle, Tyler Paquet and girlfriend Ali, Jake Genest and girlfriend Caroline, Sam Cummings, and Chris Cummings; five great-grandchildren, Adriana, Hayleigh, Anthony, Jaycee, and Brinley; five siblings, Paul Lacasse and girlfriend Grace, Ted Lacasse and sister-in-law Wanda, Lucille Lowe, Jeanne Guerin and brother-in-law Bobby, Therese Pinette, as well as sister-in-law Marguerite Rosys, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. In addition, she had several grand dogs that she adored and spoiled. Grace is predeceased by her daughter Claudette.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 27^th from 4-5:30pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A funeral service will follow at 5:30pm in the funeral home. Family and friends are also invited to attend a reception after services.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude.
