Grace E. Lanoie

Grace E. Lanoie, 88, of 99 Clinton Street, died January 26, 2001, at Parkland Medical Center, Derry. She was born in Manchester on January 31, 1912, the daughter of the late Ferdinand and Addie (Bergeron) Lesmerises and resided 50 years at 833 Montgomery Street, before moving to Concord five years ago. She was the widow of Roland Lanoie who died in 1981. Mrs. Lanoie was a former parishioner and greeter of St. Jean Baptiste Church, Manchester. Family members include four daughters, Mrs. Bertrand (Rachel) Duvernay of Salem, NH, Mrs. Gerard (Muriel) Maheu of Concord, NH, Mrs. Ted (Janet) Hillson of Penacook, NH and Mrs. Richard (Yvette) Lanoie-Buhner of Sonoma, California, eleven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, a brother Roger Lesmerises of Manchester, a sister Dorothy Pilotte of Goffstown, NH, several nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 o'clock in St. Jean Baptiste Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Diabetes Association, 132 Middle Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
