Grace M. Lazott

Grace Lazott (Worthley), 88, died October 18th, 2021. She was born on May 31, 1933 in Manchester, NH, the daughter of William and Edna Worthley.

She was the best friend and perfect wife to Raymond T. Lazott, Sr. for more than 67 ½ years, married on May 8th, 1954.

Grace grew up as a city girl in the Granite Square with a twinkle in her eye, a little bit of a stubborn streak, and a genuine friendliness to everyone she met. She had a passion for reading and learning, singing and listening to music, family vacations and hot dogs at York Beach, shopping for bargains (especially at Macy’s), and any occasion to send family members a card with stickers and drawings.

She had great sympathy for anyone who couldn’t hold back laughter at times when they probably should. She had no tolerance for fighting among her family; she threatened to throw down lightning bolts if we argue after she passed. Grace’s faith in God was profound and full of joy.

Grace was predeceased by numerous friends and in-laws, with whom she is now celebrating. She is survived by her husband Raymond, sister Doris Carreau, her daughters Kathy Schofield (husband Lucian) and Sharon Robichaud (husband Scot), sons Raymond Lazott Jr. (wife Karen) and Thomas Lazott (wife Jennifer), her 10 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10:30 on Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 at Phaneuf Funeral Home located at 250 Coolidge Street in Manchester, NH. A funeral service will be held at the same location from 10:30 to 11:30. Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend.
