HADLEY GADBOIS

BETHLEHEM, NH -- Hadley Gadbois, age 81, passed away February 3, 2008 at Littleton Regional Hospital.

A Littleton native, Hadley was born August 28, 1926, one of three sons of Clyde and Agnes (Platt) Gadbois.

A member of LHS class of 1944, Hadley earned a bachelors degree in political science from UNH and attended law school at Georgetown School of Law.

Hadley served aboard the U.S.S. Topeka in WWII. He later joined the U.S. Air Force, serving in Korea, Japan and Europe. When he separated from military service, he returned to Littleton and held a variety of positions in this area until he retired in 2006.

Hadley was a proud member and past Exalted Ruler of Littleton Elks Lodge #1831. He was a 60-year member of the VFW and was a member of the Eagles and American Legion.

Hadley is survived by his brother, Victor Bruce Gadbois of Seattle, Washington; nieces, Gay Plath and Kim Buchanan of Bellevue and Seattle, Washington; nieces, Susan Pearce of Santa Rosa, California and Heather Gates of Maricopa, Arizona, and nephew, Bruce Hadley Gadbois of Los Osos, California. He was predeceased by his parents and his eldest brother, Norman.

SERVICES  A graveside service will be held in the spring at the convenience of the family.
