Harold Robert Sanders, 79, died suddenly on Tuesday April 6, 2010.
Harold was born in Groton, Vermont on May 27, 1930. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had retired from a career in retail. He had also served as the Town Manager for Littleton in the 70s. He was very active with the Littleton Chamber of Commerce and was passionate about donating his time to serving Littleton. Harold was a member of the Elks lodge in Littleton. Rita and Harold attended St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Rita Ann (Therrien), nephews David Cryans of Bethlehem and Christopher Cryans of Littleton and a niece, Susan Leslie also of Littleton and a host of extended family and wonderful friends.
SERVICES The family will old a calling hour from 12pm to 1pm Friday, April 9, 2010 with a funeral service to follow at 1pm with Rev. Lyn O. Winter officiating. Interment services will be held privately with committal at Glenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the Littleton Senior Center.
