Harold Tod

Harold Tod, 80, of 105 Norcross Street, died November 12, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Leeds, England on February 23, 1927, the son of George and Rosaline (Forrest) Tod and had been a resident of New Hampshire for over 25 years. He was a 20 year veteran of the United States Air Force, serving during World War II. He had also worked in the maintenance department for Numerica Bank until his retirement. He was the widower of Jean (Newbould) Tod who died in 1997. He had belonged to the American Legion and VFW. In His Life: Family members include his son, Anthony Tod and his wife Christine of Abington, MA; two grandsons, Sharon Tod and Daniel Tod, both of Abington, MA; a sister, Alice Phillips of England; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Friday evening from 6 to 8 PM. After cremation, his cremated remains will be interred in England.
