Harriet V. Ouillette, 100, of Manchester NH, passed away peacefully on April 1st, 2021 at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center with her family by her side. She was born on January 21st, 1921 to the late Jens Ola Bostrand & Ruth Andresen Bostrand in Chicago, IL and would later move to New Hampshire in 1947.
Harriet attended High School in Chicago and would go on to join the Navy during WWII. She served in both San Diego and in the Great Lakes and was proud of her service throughout her life. After her service she worked for Granite State Machine and later Burroughs Business Machines from which she retired.
Those who knew Harriet will remember a woman who loved to travel, shop, and be with the ones she loved. She lived a long and fulfilling life and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Harriet is survived by her two daughters Didi Genest & Kim Ouillette, grandchildren Kenneth & Lisa, with whom she lived a very happy 5 years, great-grandchildren Meghan & Patrick and great-great-grandchildren Brynn & Reagan, who was born on Harriet's 100th birthday. The family would like to send their sincere gratitude to the fantastic staff at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center for the wonderful care they provided for Harriet.
