Harry R. Pion, 83, of Manchester, died January 12, 2000, at Catholic Medical Center after a brief illness. He was born in Canada June 15, 1916, the son of John R. And Thelerise (Trudeau) Pion and had been a resident of Manchester most of his life prior to 30 years in Waterbury, Ct. He was a salesman ofr Electrolux for over 40 years, was a communicant of St. Patrick Church and was a lover of classical music and played violin for many years. Harry was an outdoorsman and enjoye gardening. Family member include his wife of 57 years Irene C. (Messier) Pion of Manchester, two sons, Frank Pion of hollywood, FL and Marc Pion of Manchester, two daughters, Laura Marcille of San Jose, Ca. And Mrs. Michael (Michelle) Skeffinston of Bedford, NH, three grandchildrne, two great grandchildren, two sisters, Theresa Hopley of Waterbury, Ct. And Isabelle Pion of Hartford, Ct. , several nieces, nephews and cousins., Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Friday evening from 6 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday morning at 10 o'clocki n St. Patrick Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made to the American Lung Association of American Heart.
