HARVEY L. BURLOCK
Harvey L. Burlock, 75, of Bethlehem died Saturday morning August 8, 2009 after an extended illness.
Harvey was the son of the late Harvey A. and May (Dodge) Burlock. He was a graduate of Bethlehem High School in 1952.
He had worked in his earlier years at the Valley View Inn and other restaurants as a cook before becoming a carpenter. Harvey was generous to help the elderly when he was able. He was of the Methodist faith,* *loved the local Littleton sport teams and enjoyed playing golf. Harvey was active with the Bethlehem Heritage Society and was an avid supporter of the Bethlehem Ambulance and Fire Department.
He is survived by his loving wife, Thelma Gibbs Engquist Burlock, his mother-in-law, Alice Gibbs of Littleton; his step-son, Gale and his wife Eileen Engquist of Summerfield, FL; two daughters, Vicky and her husband David Mackay of Littleton, NH and Brenda Burlock of St. Johnsbury, VT; his sister, Bernice and her husband Brad Doane of Kennebunk, ME; one grandchild, Harley MacKay; and a host of extended family and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, his brothers, Merlin, Bernard and Ralph, as well as his sisters Eva and Helen.
*SERVICES -- *A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 18^th at 1:00 p.m. in the Glenwood Cemetery with Rev. Richard Hanson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the Bethlehem Heritage Society or the Bethlehem Ambulance and Fire Department.
