Harvey McInnis of Cocoa, Florida, formerly of Londonderry, New Hampshire passed away peacefully on January 12, 2026, at the age of 79.
Born on August 16, 1946, in Nova Scotia, Canada, Harvey later relocated to the United States, settling in Boston, Massachusetts, where he met the love of his life, Kay. Together, they eventually made their home in Londonderry, New Hampshire, building a life rooted in family, and friendship.
An avid hockey player, Harvey carried his love for the game throughout his life, both on and off the ice. More than anything, he was an involved and deeply proud grandfather who found his greatest joy in time spent with his family. Harvey had a rare gift for collecting people by bringing them together and making each feel seen, welcomed, and valued.
In 1966, Harvey married his one true love, Kay McInnis. Together they shared 50 years of a beautiful marriage, built on loyalty, laughter, and unwavering partnership. Kay remained the love of his life always.
Harvey was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Kay McInnis; his daughter, Kathryne Ann McInnis; his brother, Donald “Booper” McInnis Jr.; and his parents, Annie May McInnis (née MacDonald) and Donald McInnis.
He is survived by his children: Michael McInnis (Angela), Mary Kathryne Miller (Norm), and Milissa Severance (Russ). He was a proud grandfather to Shane (Ashley), Dan (Bailey), Cameron, Laurissa (Edward), Katy, Morgan, Alec, Gabby, and Trevor, and a cherished great-grandfather to Brantley, Carter, Jeremy, Bonnie, Piper, Holly, and Jennings.
Also surviving him are his siblings: Ann Cheryl Spengler (Robert), Madonna Lanzo, and Patrick McInnis (Cindy Lou), along with a large and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
