HECTOR GEORGE POLSON, JR

FLORIDA  Hector G. Polson, Jr., 72, of St. Augustine, Florida, passed away on December 16, 2003 at his home.

Hector was a son born to Hector G. and Grace L. (Libby) Polson on February 20, 1931 in St. Johnsbury, Vermont.

Hector resided in Littleton, NH until moving to St. Augustine in 1966. He worked for many years as a chief inspector with the Insurance Services Office and later retired from the New Hampshire Liquor Commission. He served his country in the U. S. Navy from 1951 to 1955. Hector was a life member of the Littleton Elks Club, Eureka Lodge No. 70, a 32nd-degree Mason, a member of the Bektasha Temple AAONMS, a past member of the A Patrol Drum Corps, and past-president of the Concord Shrine Club.

Surviving family members include his wife, Betty Lou Polson of St. Augustine, FL; a daughter, Sandra Edson of Enfield, NH; a son, Gary G. Polson of Concord, NH; and three grandchildren.

SERVICES -- A Graveside Service will be held at a later date in the spring.

The family suggests donations be made in his memory to Hospice of NE, 525 SR 16, St. Augustine, FL 32095.
