Heidi A. (Pero)
Dubois
November 18, 1951 – June 9, 2026
Phaneuf Funeral Home
6:00 - 8:00 pm (Eastern time)
Heidi A. (Pero) Dubois passed away peacefully on June 9, 2026 from Congestive Heart Failure.
A lifelong resident of Manchester, Heidi was loved by all that knew her. She was a loving mother to her 3 children, a wonderful Nana to her 5 grandchildren and a Great Nana to her 3 great grandchildren.
Family was everything to Heidi thanks to the love of her close and extended family and friends. Blessed with 2 older siblings and cousins (that were more like extra siblings), they remained very close throughout time. Heidi became her family’s historian, responsible for keeping all of the stories straight for the current and future generations. In her retirement from the workforce, she took that role further and dug deep into her family’s ancestral trees.
Heidi loved playing games with family and was known to hold no punches, especially during the rousing games of UNO where she would scold other players for “kibitzin’”. She loved to sarcastically say “Sorrrry” whenever she sent your pieces home during a game of Sorry. Heidi also loved crafting and making her custom greeting cards, which we will all dearly miss.
Heidi was an example of strength and overcoming life’s challenges. She was also an excellent example of how to stretch a buck further than anyone!
Heidi was a proud parishioner of St. Anthony’s of Padua Church and a member of the Ladies of Saint Anne. She was also a proud and active member of the Club Mont Royal.
Heidi is survived by her son, Joshua Dubois and his wife, Jessica, of Manchester; daughter, Holly Dubois, of Manchester; and daughter, Charlotte Dubois, of Manchester; Granddaughters Makayla Palik, Layne Dubois, and Chloe Dubois; Grandsons Carter Dubois and Upton Dubois; Great Grandsons Asher, Maddox, Elliott, and soon to be a 4th.
She is pre deceased by most of her family and we know they were all waiting for her to arrive. Her father, Francis H. Pero; mother, Catherine (Quinn) Pero-Kendrick; brother, Gary F. Pero; sister, Charleen P. (Pero) Turcotte.
A Celebration of Life will be held Monday, August 10, 2026 from 6pm-8pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester, NH. A private funeral “and stuff like this” for her large, extended family will be held August 11, 2026 at her family’s plot at Evergreen Cemetery in Pembroke, NH.
“Okie dokie! Catch ya later! Yup! Bye!”
In lieu of flowers, please make a Tribute Donation in Heidi’s name to the NH Food Bank at nhfoodbank.org.
