HELEN SIS, CISSIE BROUSSEAU

LITTLETON, NH  Helen Sis, Cissie Brousseau, passed away, in her home, on Saturday, June 9, 2007 with her family by her side.

She was born on April 19, 1918, a daughter to Tristram Coffin Jacobs and Mildred (Edson) Jacobs and grew up in Meredith, NH.

Sis graduated from Meredith High School class of 1936, and attended Keene State College. She moved to Littleton in 1938 and met her husband, Carol Brousseau. She was a member of the Littleton Congregational Church and the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. She delivered Meals on Wheels to area seniors. Sis was an avid reader and loved to sing. Cissies prizes in life were her grandchildren; and she was always there with a listening ear in giving comfort or guidance to family and friends.

Cissie is survived by her daughter, Deirdre Brousseau and husband, Carroll Nile of Littleton, NH; a son, Timothy Brousseau and wife, Lindy of Lebanon, NH; a brother, Benjamin Jacobs and wife, Aline of Laconia, NH; grandchildren, Carlen of Marlboro, MA, Timothy of Boulder, CO, Matthew of Somersworth, NH, Jonna Brousseau and her partner, Josh Dubreuil of Littleton, NH; many nieces, nephews, wonderful caretakers, and friends.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, her sisters, Ada Batchelder and Lille Belle Gould, and her brother Tristram Jacobs, Jr.

SERVICES  A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 16th at 11:00 a.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street, Littleton, NH.
