Helen T. Custeau

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Theresa Custeau, born in Goffstown, New Hampshire, who passed away on October 17, 2021, at the age of 72.

Helen graduated from Southern NH University in 1986 with her BSBA degree.
She most enjoyed being with family and friends, camping, quilting, reading, and trips to the Caribbean Islands. She had an adventurous soul and loved the thrill of sky diving and extreme rollercoasters across the country. Her infectious personality brought joy to those who knew and loved her, and her passion for life gave her grandchildren many precious memories.
She was predeceased by her parents, Francis and Regina Desrochers and her brother-in-law Ron Hawthorne. She is survived by her husband Thomas G. Hartley of Goffstown, NH, her children, Chris Custeau and wife Paige of Pelham NH, Lisa Card of Manchester, NH; her grandchildren, Tyler and Jordan Card, Bailey and Emma Custeau; her brothers Raymond and Paul Desrochers and wife Terri, of Goffstown, NH, sisters Louise Hawthorne, St. Cloud, Florida, Pauline McMaster and husband Bob, of Goffstown, NH, Liz Friedman and husband Gene, niece Kelly Paradie, of Goffstown, NH and nephew Shawn McMaster and wife Gina, of Stormville, NY. She is also survived by many cousins, and dear friends.
Celebration of her Life will be held on October 26, 2021 from 6-8pm at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. A private burial will be held at a later date.
