HELEN DACHOWSKI GOFFSTOWN - Helen (Hall) Dachowski, 97, formerly of Manchester, NH, died March 13, 2007, at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home in Goffstown. Mrs. Dachowski was born on August 9, 1909, in Concord, NH, the daughter of the late George and Ella (Murray) Hall. She was a resident of Goffstown for the past 12 years. Prior to this, she resided in Manchester. Mrs. Dachowski was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church, in Manchester. IN HER LIFE: Members of her family include; 3 sons, John Dachowski and his wife Trudy, of Sumnter, SC; Robert Dachowski and his wife Claire of Manchester; George Dachowski, of Gorham, ME; 5 daughters, Mary White and her husband, Charles, of Hooksett; Carol Bell and her husband, Tony of Manchester; Pauline Gracyalny and her husband John, of Green Bay, WI; Jean Preston of Center Ossipee, Marjorie Leutweiller and her husband, Robert Senk, of Lynnfield, MA; 26 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Dachowski was predeceased by her husband, John A. Dachowski, who died in 1948. She loved and was very devoted to her children and family and enjoyed watching her soap operas. She was also very grateful for the wonderful love and care she received over the past 12 years from the entire staff at the B2 unit of the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. SERVICES: Calling hours will be Friday from 5 7 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, 10 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 14 Elm Street, in Manchester. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Hedwig Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Benefit of B2 Unit, 400 Mast Road, Goffstown, NH 03045 or to Blessed Sacrament Food Pantry, 14 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03101, in memory of Mrs. Dachowski.
