Helen Selvoski, 104, of 18 Westview Road, Bedford, NH, died March 17, 2005, at the Veteran Medical Center. She was born in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, on September 8, 1900, the daughter of Joseph and Helen Warminski, and lived many years in Pennsylvania before moving to Bedford, NH eight years ago. She is the widow of Joseph Selvoski who died in 1927. She was a W.W. II US Army WAAC with the rank of Staff Sargeant. Mrs. Selvoski founded the Library Old Forge Pennsylvania and was a Past President and member of the Ladies Auxiliary Old Forge Post 4954 of Pennsylvania. She was a member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars and loved gardeing and canning. Helen was an avid cook. Family members include her son Joseph F. Selvoski, of Bedford, NH, with whom she resided with, before making her residence at the Veteran Medical Center Nursing Care, six grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, her foster son, Michael Surderski of Bedford, NH. In HER LIFE: She loved her six grandchildren; Mary Jo Smith, Dawna Johonnett, Kim Cassidy, Laura LePine, Stacey Keancy and James LePine, and her 12 great grandchildren. SERVICES: A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday morning at 10 OClock in St. Elizabeth Seton Church, Bedford, NH. Urn burial will be at a later date in Pennsylvania.
