OBITUARY NOTICE HELEN SEMOS MANCHESTER – Helen (Gregorious) Semos, 92, died Monday, December 21, 2009, at Mt. Carmel Nursing Home, in Manchester. Born in Manchester, NH, September 15, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Stergios and Olga (Kallioras) Gregorious. She was a lifelong resident of the Manchester/Bedford area and attended Central High School. Mrs. Semos was employed for many years at Fleisher Shoe Company, in Manchester, until the company closed. She spent her remaining working years as a cashier at local neighborhood food markets. She was an active member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, a choir member for many years, and a supporter of various church-related organizations and efforts. Members of her family include; 2 sons, William Semos, of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA; James Semos, of Hollywood, FL; and 3 grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 28, 10 A.M. at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 111 Island Pond Road, in Manchester. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, in Manchester.
