Helen D. Spyridakis

Helen D. Spyridakis, 83, died Noverber 1, 2008 at Arbors of Bedford after a long illness. She was born May 17, 1925 in Andover, MA, the daughter of the late Paul and Sophia (Kazarapake) Gigis Mrs. Spyridakis was Predeceased by her husband Jack Spyridakis who died in 1993. She was member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, member of the Daughters of Penelope, the Anagenessis Society and worked for many years for the Glendi at that church. She enjoyed traveling with her husband. Family members included one son Michael Spyridakis of Amherst, NH ; one daughter Lee K. Spyridakis of Dover, NH; one sister Betty Mathews of North Andover, MA.; several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours are Tuesday from 4-7 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. corner of Union St., Manchester. A Trisagion service will take place at 6:00 PM. The funeral is Wednesday at 1:30 PM in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 650 Hanover St. Committal prayers will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
