Helen Jeffrey Uyeno, 76, passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2020.
Helen was born in Wakefield, MA on July 14th, 1944 to Helen & Dominic Jeffrey.
A mother of six, Helen was a caring woman of many talents who was dedicated to her career in working with the elderly and physically disabled.
She had many aliases including Rainbow the Clown; complete with rainbow wig, costume and makeup and her with her Christmas soul, loved dressing up as Mrs. Claus. She was a fanatic with her CB radio in the 70's and 80's, and was known and loved by many as her call name Boobless ;) Helen would morph into each of these characters and put huge smiles on all of those who she loved and worked with. She loved to write poetry and was a talented cake decorator. She was also Elvis Presley's biggest fan.
As God's will has called her away, she is survived by all of her children; daughters Dana Jo & husband Ron, Robin and Dawn-Lee; sons Dean & wife Vonyell, Jay & wife Kathleen, Michael & wife Javon and stepson Brian; 23 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a few great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all.
A gathering in remembrance of Helen will take place on Thursday, August 13 at 5:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH, with a prayer service beginning at 6:00 PM.
