Helga E. (Feyand) Currier, 72, of 777 Grove St., died August 24, 2001 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Bremerhaven, Germany on July 26, 1929, the daughter of Hubert and Elsie Feyand and had been a Manchester resident for most of her life. She became a United States citizen in 1966. She had worked as a stitcher for many years. After her retirement, she worked as a school crossing guard for the City of Manchester School Department. She was a avid Bingo player. She was the widow of Allan W. Currier who died in 1984. Family members include two sons, Willi Feyand and Bruce A. Currier, both of Manchester; two daughters, Helen Gauthier of Auburn and Jennie Beaupre of Manchester; two grandchildren; and several cousins. A celebration of her life will take at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. on Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 PM. A graveside memorial service will follow Wednesday morning at 11:00 in Pine Grove Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to the Lawrence L.
