Herve G. Faucher, 85, of Litchfield, passed away on November 15, 2023 in his home. He is the loving husband of the late Ginette M. (Couture) Faucher.
Herve was born in Black Lake, Canada to Sinai Faucher and Claire Aldea Gagnon. He attended school in Black Lake and Ste Croix.
Herve married Ginette Couture in 1964 in Manchester, NH where they settled and began a family. He was a carpenter for most of his life and enjoyed working with different types of wood. After retirement he worked for the Town of Litchfield Transfer Station for several years. He kept himself busy by working in his garden and being the handyman for his family and was a long time parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Litchfield.
Herve is survived by his children, Paul Ronald Faucher and his wife Jacqueline of Hooksett, Judith Ann Faucher of Bedford, and Ronald Mark Faucher of Merrimack; his brother Gerard Faucher; sisters Monique Cote, and Marie Marthe Daigle; his 7 beloved grandchildren, Daniel Pramis, Joshua Pramis, Paul Faucher Jr, Jacob Faucher, Kimberly Pyszka, Rebecca Pyszka, and Emily Faucher; and two great grandchildren, Lillian Ginette, and Aubrey Emma, with one more on the way. He is predeceased by his granddaughter, Jennifer Faucher.
A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 21st from 6-8pm at The Phaneuf Funeral Home & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day, Wednesday, November 22nd at 11:00am at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Litchfield. Interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.
