Hizak Maikon da Silva, 17, of 302 Myrtle Street, died at his peacefully at his residence on September 28, 2006 after a courageous struggle with a lifelong disability.
He was born in Astorga, Parana Brazil on April 22, 1989, the son of Zaqueu and Sueli (Marcia) da Silva and had been a Manchester resident for the past five years. He was a sophomore at Central High School and loved listening to music.
Family members include his parents of Manchester and his sister, Franciele de Silva of Manchester.
Calling hours will take place at the World Revival Church, 195 McGregor Street on Monday from 10 AM to noon. Funeral services will follow in the church at noon with burial taking place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray funeral expenses. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
