Hubert Laberge, 83, of Manchester died March 4, 2012 at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA.
He was born on March 27, 1928 in Alma, Quebec, Canada the son of Joseph and Rosanna (Lalancette) Laberge. He was raised and educated in Canada. He came to the United States forty seven years ago and has lived in Manchester since.
Hubert worked as a mason with the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers Local #3.
He was a devout communicant of Ste. Marie Parish in Manchester and a member of the Sacred Heart League.
In his younger years, he enjoyed camping and lakeside activities. He also liked a good game of cards with friends. He especially loved spending time with his family as he was a beloved family man.
Surviving family members include his wife of 53 years, Jeannette (Rousseau) Laberge of Manchester, son, Pierre Laberge of Manchester, two daughters, Claire Laberge of Calgary, Canada and Josee Desmarais of Goffstown, their spouses, six grandchildren; Eric, Melanie, Renee, Robert, Andrew and Adam, three sisters; Gemma, Annie and Cecile. He was predeceased by his son Remi Laberge and also his two brothers.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30AM at Ste. Marie Church, 378 Notre Dame Ave, Manchester. Committal prayers will follow in the mausoleum chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers donations in Hubert's memory can be made to Ste.
