Huyen Diệu Thi Dang, a resilient and devoted mother, passed away peacefully at home on March 4, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 26, 1948, in Hue, Vietnam, Huyen was a strong and hardworking woman who exemplified dedication and sacrifice for her loved ones.
She spent her life raising her six children largely by herself, as her husband Hiep was imprisoned for 5 years and worked thereafter to provide for his family. Her commitment to her family was unwavering, and she gave everything she had to ensure they would have a better life. Prior to immigrating to the United States in 1993, Huyen worked as a seamstress in Vietnam. Her courageous move was driven by her desire to provide more opportunities and a brighter future for her children.
Huyen's family was the most important part of her life. She took pride in presenting herself well and always maintained her appearance for others. Raised Buddhist, she found strength and comfort in her religion, serving as a Patron of her local Buddhist temple.
Huyen's life will be honored with a funeral service on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, Manchester, NH. There will be a visitation that same day from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A graveside service will follow on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 10:00 AM at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Manchester, NH.
