Inge Maria Ducharme

Inge M. Ducharme, 69, of Weare, NH passed away unexpectedly on January 12th, 2022. She was born on November 29, 1952 in Bitburg, Germany to the late Ludwig & Louise Paas, and would go on to marry her best friend Daniel Ducharme, with whom she shared over 40 years of marriage.

Born and raised in Germany, Inge always kept deep ties to her native country, and would often return there to visit family. It was in Germany where Inge met Daniel at the age of 25 while he was stationed there and were married quickly thereafter. After their marriage, Daniel convinced Inge to visit the US, where she enjoyed life so much that they decided to stay there for the rest of their lives.

After settling in the NH, Inge enjoyed over 32 years of work as an LNA at the Hillsborough County Nursing Home. Her genuine kindness and care for others allowed her to excel at her work, as she truly loved the many patients, co-workers and friends she made during her time there.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Inge will remember a truly loving person who cared for the many people in her life. She was always on the move, either knitting, making decorations, or just keeping busy at all times, especially during the holidays. There was nothing more in this world that Inge loved more than her family, as she was always her best self when surrounded by the people she loved. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives she touched.

Inge is survived by her husband Daniel Ducharme; 2 daughters Desiree Cote and her husband Nate & Stephanie Stucklic and her husband Justin; 6 granddaughters; 1 great granddaughter as well as many extended family members and friends.

Inge will be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 19th at 3:00 PM at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
