Iona Finkelstein

Iona (Sabol) Finkelstein, 79, formerly of 11 Fieldstone Drive, Hollis, died April 12, 2000, at Intergrated Health Services of Manchester, after a long illness. She was born in Yonkers, New York on July 14, 1920, the daughter of Michael and Anna (Rudik) Sabol and resided many years in Great Barrington, Ma., retiring later in Hollis, NH. She worked many years for Miller's Clothing Store in Nashua, NH. She was the widow of David Finkelstein who died in 1977. Family members include her son Richard Finkelstein of Milford, NH, her daughter Barbara Damon of Hollis, NH, four grandchildren. There will be no services and the funeral will be private. Donations may be made to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua, 24 Ferry Road, Nashua, NH 03064. The Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester is in charge of her arrangements.
