Irene Bolser, 94, of Manchester, NH, passed away at home on March 18, 2025. Born in Berlin, NH on October 4, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Adelbert and Beatrice Paquette. Preceding Irene in death is her husband, Robert Bolser, her siblings, Arthur Paquette, Theresa Paquette, Yvonne Cole, Yvette McMahon and Diane Paquette.
Irene retired from Anchor Electric in 1988 and spent time with her family and traveling. She loved to go to Bingo and took up quilting in her retirement years. She was a member of Amoskeag Quilters Guild and took several bus trips with them to Amish country. She joined a bowling league in the early 1990’s with her daughter and son-in-law. Family and friends will recall that fathead was used as a term of endearment by Irene. She will be profoundly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the honor of knowing her.
Irene is survived by her daughter Kathy (Gary) DeSchuiteneer, sons Charles, Glen (Debra), Scott (Lynn), Kelly (Lauri Campbell), 10 grandchildren, one step-grandchild, 10 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Calling Hours for Irene will be held on Monday, March 24th from 6 to 8 pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover, St. Manchester, NH. She will be laid to rest at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery the following day at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Hampshire Down Syndrome Association.
