Irene A. Bourque

Irene A. (Gagne) Bourque, 88, of 214 Bremer Street, died January 18, 2002 at Harborside Health Care Center in Bedford. She was born in Manchester on December 25, 1913, the daughter of Rene and Irene (Vallee) Gagne and had been a lifelong resident of the City. She was the widow of Elphege Bourque who died in 1982. She was a parishioner of St. Jean the Baptist Church and was a member of St. Anne Sodality of St. Jean Church. She was an associate of the Sisters of Mercy and was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxillary. Family members include two daughters, Pauline Davis of Manchester and Jeanne Farrell of Deering; two sons, Robert Bourque of NJ and Dennis Bourque of Manchester; two brothers, Rene Gagne of Manchester and Leo Gagne of ME; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Monday morning from 9 to 11 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Monday morning at 11:30 in St. Jean the Baptist Church. Entombment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
