Irene G. Fredette

Mrs. Irene G. Fredette, 78, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2019. One of fourteen children, she was a daughter of the late Elezear and Marie St. Onge, Irene was born July 22, 1941 in Manchester, NH. She was a graduate of Saint Mary's Academy. From an early age, Irene developed a deeply profound faith in God which served to guide her throughout her life.

In October 1960, Irene married Armand Fredette. They were blessed with three children before Armand's passing in 1972. Irene devoted her life to raising her sons and her faith in God.

She is survived by her sons, Michael Fredette and his wife Darlene of Manchester, NH; Mark Fredette and his wife Kim of Goffstown, NH; Joseph Fredette and his wife Jodiann of Rochester, NH; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, several siblings and many extended family members.

This gentle and loving woman left her mark in the hearts of all she met. Irene was passionate about musc and art, which she shared with her grandchildren. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by babies and children of all ages, watching them play and grow. She will forever be remembered for her beautiful smile, generous heart and unconditional love.

A Celebration of Irene's life will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH with a memorial gathering from 10:00am – 12:00pm and a memorial service at 12:00pm. Family and friends are invited to attend.
