The family of Irene (Dimond) Dann-Just wish to announce and express their deepest condolences for the loss of their beloved Irene.

Born in Middleboro, Massachusetts on April 20, 1939, to Frances and Clarence Dimond, Irene passed away in Whitefield, NH on September 30, 2026, from an unexpected illness. Irene attended Middleboro schools until her junior year. While living in Littleton, NH Irene owned and managed a very successful restaurant known as Beas Restaurant, which was a dream come true for her. Always with a friendly and outgoing smile her recipes and dishes became the dining delight of the town.

Although Irene did not complete high school, she did return to school to earn her graduation diploma in her early 40’s, something which she was extremely proud of. Another amazing accomplishment that brought cheer and smiles to those she met daily, was the time she worked at the Littleton Wal-Mart where she entertained the customers with her wild antics of dressing up and being a silly clown. Seeing people smile and laugh with her was at the center of her very being and where she gained the nickname of “Sunny” by her coworkers.

Perhaps Irene’s greatest accomplishment in her life was being the wife of her beloved and late husband Richard “Dick” Just for forty years. Living in Littleton, Berlin, and Whitefield they were seldom apart. As her family gathered to visit with her recently, she held a picture of Dick in her lap while smiling and saying, “He was the love of my life.”

She is predeceased by her sister, Ruthie and she is survived by her children, Richard Dann, Tim Dann, Dee (Dann) Newell and Pamela (Dann) Seguin. Her brothers, Thomas Dimond and Ernest Dimond. Irene is also survived by the grandchildren she loved dearly, Candy Dann, Morgan Newell, DJ Newell, Calie Mae (Richards) Roberts, Benjamin Berry, and her two great grandchildren, Marli Mae Roberts and Ava Grace Roberts. Not to be forgotten are her dear, dear friends who she cherished as well as her very best and treasured friend, Annie, who she adored and held close.

A Celebration of Life will occur Saturday, October 24th at 11AM in Franklin, NH. All of her friends are invited to celebrate with joyous memories. Feel free to RSVP Pamela via Facebook. A scattering will take place in the near future held at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers charitable donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at Alzheimer's Association in Irene’s memory.

Assisting the family with arrangements is Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium.
