Irene Lamarine

Irene Lamarine, 87, of Manchester, died August 20, 2004, at a local nursing home after a short illness. She was born in Manchester, NH on December 18, 1916, the daughter of Wilfred and Olivine (Demers) Lamarine and lived most of her life in Brookline, MA., before moving back to Manchester 30 years ago. She worked in Sales and was devoutly religious and loved life. She loved animals and particularly enjoyed her cates. She rescued many stray cats from the streets and provided them with a loving home. Family member include her sister, Jeannette Provost of Boscawen, NH, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is predeceased by eight brothers and sister. SERVICES: There are no visiting hours. Relatives and friends may attend a graveside service for Miss Lamarine at Mount Calvary Cemetery on Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock.
