Irene Mannion

Irene (Demers) Mannion, formerly of 85 Mammoth Road, Hooksett, died October 2, 2005 at Harborside Healthcare in Bedford. She was born in Manchester, the daughter of Arthur and Laura (Beaudoin) Demers, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. She was the widow of William E. Mannion who died in 1994. She has worked for Sanders Associates. She belonged to the Manchester Super Brownies Association for many years and was one of the last remaining members. She was predeceased by her daughter, Virginia “Ginger” Ferko. She loved to hunt and fish. Irene was knows for her harvest vegetables which she sold at the end of her driveway. Family members include her son, William E. Mannion, Jr., of Freeport, NY; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 10th at 11:00 in St. Catherine Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
