Irma R. Vincello, 91, of Manchester passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 23rd, 2021 following a lengthy period of declining health. She was born in Waltham, MA February 16, 1930 to Arthur and Zella (Comeau) Cormier. She married Sebastian Vincello in 1951 and devoted herself to caring for her home, her husband, and raising their six children.
Irma loved spending time outdoors and adored Cape Cod. She was an avid gardener and birder and also loved square dancing and country line dancing. Irma was a member of the Red Hatters Club and a dedicated parishioner of Holy Rosary Church. Irma had an unparalleled sense of adventure which she maintained well into her later years, enjoying parasailing, zip lining, whitewater rafting, and jet skiing throughout her 60s and 70s. Irma valued her family above all things and instilled in her children that "nothing is more important than family."
Irma is survived by four sons, Mark Vincello and wife Jane, Peter Vincello and wife Roberta, Eric Vincello and wife Kathleen, and Joseph Vincello and wife Geney; two daughters, Laurie Vincello and husband David Boisvert and Amy Cooper; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Sebastian and all of her siblings.
Family and friends are invited to gather Friday, March 26th 5:00-7:00pm at Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. Due to current restrictions guests are respectfully requested to wear face coverings and observe social distancing guidelines. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, March 27th at 11:00am at Holy Rosary Church, 21 Main Street in Hooksett.
