Isabell L. Martel

ISABELL L. MARTEL Isabell L. (LaDuke) Martel, 94 of Manchester, NH, died June 6, 2006 at Hanover Hill Health Care Center, in Manchester. Mrs. Martel was born on March 3, 1912, in Goffstown, NH, the daughter of the late Forrest L. and Rose Agnes (Lundreville) LaDuke. She was a lifelong resident of Manchester. Mrs. Martel was a past member of the Daughters of Isabella, and was an avid bingo player. She also volunteered with the Union Leader Cooking Schools assisting with the setup of cooking classes. Members of her family include; her 2 sons, Francis Martel of Manchester; Oswald Martel, Jr., also of Manchester; 1 daughter, Therese Moriarty, of Manchester; 13 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 2 brothers, Maurice LaDuke, of Goffs Falls, NH; Forrest LaDuke, of Sheridan, Wyoming; many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Martel was predeceased by her husband, Oswald Martel. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 8, from 2 – 4 PM and 7 – 9 P.M. at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, 11 AM at St. Peter Church, 567 Manchester Road, Auburn, NH. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Manchester. Arrangements are under the direction of the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester.
